Nordic RSGs

Regional Student Group (RSG) is an initiative by the Student Council of the International Society for Computational Biology. There are currently three active RSGs in Nordics.

Nordic RSGs organise social and academic activities with a goal to inspire students and early-career researchers in the field of computational biology. We are proud to be a part of Nordic Computational Biology together with whom, we aim to highlight scientific breakthroughs in Nordic countries.

In late 2020, Nazeefa Fatima kindly brought together Nordic RSGs and we launched Nordic Computational Biology Talks initiative. Visit Nordic Computational Biology Talks to find out about upcoming seminars, some of which are organised by hosts from Nordic RSGs.

RSG-Denmark (CBioVikings)

CBioVikings was founded to connect students in bioinformatics and computational biology across Denmark in 2015. Since then, it has gained recognition as the Regional Student Group (RSG) for Denmark. CBioVikings provide a space to meet, learn, and network. We have organised meetups, webinars, hackathons, and much more.
